I have been trying to keep updated as more information becomes available. Here are some of the thoughts on this catastrophe.
IW will probably not change their minds.
They are trying to make MW2 more easy for the casual gamer. IE noobs complained to IW that they got their ass kicked too many times.
P2P server will cause shit loads of lag
P2p will have small player caps
Most residential internet connections cannot handle hosting.
We will probably be able to play together but, you will have to live with tons of lag and the low ping god like playing of the host.
They are trying to prevent cheats. Cheats are going to happen either way. In my 2 years of playing this game, I have seen only 3 cheats. Perhaps there have been more, but those are the only for certain players.
Yes Sweetums, BF BC 2 and BF3 are looking better and better.

my thoughts exactly, and sad to see this from the in-house perspective (industry) but even more so from IW to sellout like this... sigh.
BF Bad Co 2 will be thee title to play and mainstream multiplayer king for 2010 unless EA does decide to start working on BF3 for production, like they once mentioned in the past?, we will see...??
